Here’s a sneak peek of Joe and Kristin’s Wedding and Reception in Detroit. The couple reside out of state; however, they both graduated from University of Detroit and love the city of Detroit. There was no question as to where their marriage celebration would take place! We accompanied the bride and groom and their wedding party to several scenic downtown locations such as the Fox Theater, Comerica Park, and Campus Martius Park. The Belle Isle Conservatory was the site of their outdoor ceremony. Afterward, the couple and their guests headed to the Greektown Casino Hotel for the reception.
Colleen and Tom’s Love Story Video and Epic Movie Poster were huge hits at their Wedding Reception held at the beautiful Fore Lakes Golf Course near Port Huron Michigan. The Love Story video included a motorcycle crash spoof dream sequence that was filmed in the rain.
Kelly and Peter were married on the campus of MSU at the Michigan State University Alumni Chapel. Their Reception was held at the Eagle Eye Golf Club in East Lansing. Kelly’s mom arranged for a special guest (Sparty) to appear at their wedding reception. Larry Lee and the Back in the Day Band played as Michigan State University mascot “Sparty” crashed the wedding reception and danced with the bride and groom and their guests. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of producing Kelly’s sisters, Kristin and Katie’s wedding videos.
Sarah and Mike had an awesome wedding day. They were married in Sandusky, Michigan. Their photo/video shoot was at the beautiful Lexington Harbor and the Reception was held in Peck.
Kathy and I just returned from the 2010 WPPI Convention (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In attendance were 14,000 photographers from around the world. We spent a week training with some of the top photographers in the world. We are excited to bring back so many new cutting edge skills and ideas that will benefit our wedding and high school senior photography clients. More on that later.
The Detroit Red Wing Alumni vs the Port Huron Hockey Alumni Old School Hockey Charity Game ended in a 5-5 tie at McMorran Arena, In Port Huron Michigan. The Wings Alimni was coached by Hockey Hall of Fame, Alex Delvecchio. Detroit’s own Karen Newman sang the National Anthem.
